EYO in concert with BBC Young Musician 2018 Lauren Zhang
EYO is thrilled to be performing this Friday 15th February at this year’s prestigious Ealing Music and Film Festival with BBC Young Musician 2018, the amazing 17-year old pianist Lauren Zhang, who will reprise her stunning competition-winning performance of Prokofiev’s dazzling Piano Concerto no 2. EYO will again be partnered by musicians from the celebrated London Mozart Players in the latest of our sequence of side-by-side concerts with London orchestras. The programme also includes the brilliant Spark Catchers by our Composer-in-Residence, rising star and former EYO member Hannah Kendall, and the magnificent Symphony Fantastique by Hector Berlioz.
