Join us for the 7th annual EYO Concertothon as we hear some of the musical stars of the future tackling full-scale concerto repertoire, accompanied by EYO. Four players from the orchestra take it in turns to step forward and play a concerto movement (or extract) in competition for the coveted EYO Concertothon trophy. We then have an interval while this year’s adjudicator, the distinguished violinist Kathryn Parry, retires to consider her verdict and then we all reconvene for the adjudication and prize-giving. It’s always a really heart-warming occasion and free to attend (with retiring collection) so please do come along if you can.
