EYO Autumn Concert 2018

You are warmly invited to join us as we embark on EYO60, our exciting year of events to mark Ealing Youth Orchestra’s 60th anniversary.

At our annual Autumn Concert on Saturday 17th November at 7.30pm at William Perkin High School, Greenford we are particularly delighted to be welcoming our first every Composer-in-Residence Hannah Kendall, former EYO member and rising star, whose brilliantly imaginative piece The Spark Catchers (originally premiered by the Chinese Orchestra at the 2017 BBC Proms) forms the centrepiece of the first part of the concert. Hannah will be present at the concert and will be taking part in a live interview and Q&A.

Other highlights included George Gershwin’s wonderfully smoky and jazz-inflected Rhapsody in Blue, with the uber-talented Eleonora Nanni (winner of the EYO Concertothon 2018) as piano soloist, with works by Holst, Elgar and Bizet to complete what should be yet another evening of outstanding music-making by these brilliant young young musicians under their inspirational music director Leon Gee.

Online booking is now open at eyo.ticketsource.co.uk

Tickets: £12.00 adults, £8.00 senior citizens, £4.00 students 11-25, Under 11s free. Group saver: 4 adult tickets for the price of 3.
